Adriana Lima

She was born in Brooklyn in New York, on the 26th November, 1917. The eldest child of middle-class Norwegian parents Adele Louisa Jurgens, (some sources refer to her as Jurgenson) started in her youth as an athletic tomgirl before deciding to become professional dancer. The 18-year old, who was stunningly gorgeous trained at an Manhattan studio for a number of years before securing a scholarship. After graduating Grover Cleveland High School in New York, she was a part of the Broadway chorus (billed with her actual name of Adele Jurgens) of Moss Hart/Cole Porter's musical Jubilee! The musical "Jubilee", which featured Melville Cooper, Mary Boland and Young Montgomery Clift in the roles of the King and Queen. The Porter classics "Begin the Beguine", "Just One of the Things", introduced the Porter classic "Begin the Beguine". Glenn Langan died of cancer in 1991. The couple's only child, 48-year-old Tracy who was film tech, passed away in 2001, of an undiagnosed brain tumor. This devastated the actress. When her son passed away, her health quickly declined. The 22nd of November 2002, she succumbed to the flu just a few days prior to turning 85.
